RDA Elements • AACR2 – 8 Areas of Description (i.e., Title and Statement of Responsibility, Edition, etc.) • FRBR and FRAD “attributes” are “elements” in RDA • Core elements listed as a group in RDA 0.6 and separately in appropriate chapters • Some of the elements are always core if applicable and the information is available; some are core only in certain situations.
