  1. Softether VPN Overview Softether VPN is an open-source, cross-browser VPN solution that was developed by Daiyuumi Nakanaka, a doctoral candidate at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. It supports the majority of popular web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox Safari, Opera, Google Chrome and Safari. It is very reliable and fast for surfing on the Internet.
