  • Minor rehabilitation or small-scale works in building construction, in health, education and public services sectors (Env. Category “B”)

  • Alternative to current EMP format (OP/BP 4.01)

  • Practical, streamlined approach to prepare an EMP that is compatible with the WB OP 4.01 requirements; integrated in bidding documents

  • Waste management; soil water and air pollution; cultural resources; traffic safety; natural habitats; worker’s safety

  • Measurements of specific parameters taken based on agreed schedule (including frequency, location, responsibility)

  • Related to the proposed mitigation measures

  • Applicable during the preparation, construction and operation phases

  • Approximate costs for monitoring activities

  • Clear description of institutional responsibility
