Reviewing Previous Meeting Decisions • Strate and MCDR will preparea business case study on AMEDA messaging hub covering costs, trading volumes and money laundry issues. • AMEDA 2009 financials were approved • Algeria Clearing joined AMEDA. • CSD11 Subcommittee approved CSD11 organization decisions • Tripoli, November 28-30, 2010 3

Reviewing Previous Meeting Decisions (Cont.d) • Those members who did not pay CSD11 contribution are required to pay ASAP. • DFM will contact NASDAQ Dubai to know their status in AMEDA. • CSD Jordan will prepare a memo by next meeting addressing membership issue based on annual fees & payment and number of attending meetings or proxy voting. • Tripoli, November 28-30, 2010 4

Reviewing Previous Meeting Decisions (Cont.d) • Strate will approach potential African countries to join AMEDA and the secretariat will approach the remaining Arab countries. • AMEDA members will allocate an amount of $3000 to the secretariat as a bonus paid by the end of the year and will be shown in the AMEDA Balance Sheet under Miscellaneous. • By May 15th, Kuwait will respond if KCC will host AMEDA 12th meeting, otherwise it will be in Tripoli. • Tripoli, November 28-30, 2010 5

  6. Current Situation • AMEDA members are now 23 members of 21 countries • An amount of $120000 representing AMEDA members contributions to the CSD11 has been to transferred to Strate • Strate and MCDR have joined Link Up Markets Group

  7. Current Situation (Cont.d) • AMEDA is moving forward with CSDs’ interlink project • AMEDA Chairman and MCDR delegate made a site visit to Cape Town and witnessed the CSD11 organization developments • Depository Information Gathering Project 2010-2011 (Yes, No, completed)

  8. Future Plans • Successfully hosting CSD11 • Inviting all AMEDA members to participate and support organizing CSD11 • Discussing next ALF event • Appling AMEDA region interlink • Enhancing more co-operation and interaction among members
