  4. North Devon District Hospital • 340 beds • 300 beds in community • Serves 413,000 people! • 21 F1s • PCMD, Imperial, Kings, Barts, Southampton, Cardiff, Bristol, Keele, Brighton & Sussex, HYMS, Birmingham, Poland • 16 F2s

Highs • Friendly, supportive, approachable staff (including seniors) • High level of responsibility (but supported) • Opportunity to develop practical skills • F1 teaching – 2 hrs/wk • Good broad rotations – most med/surg/MAU • No night shifts! • High banded jobs – (medicine & T&O 40%, surgery & MAU 50%, paeds 5%) • Bun-run lady! • Great lifestyle outside the hospital
