  2. Pupils from Primary School in Toszek will show you how to prepare two of traditional silesian meals. It will be delicious żurek and wonderful gingerbreads. Gingerbreads are usually baked at Christmas time.

  3. Girls started preparing żurek with peeling potatoes and chopping them…

  4. … they diced smelly sausage and added to boiling potatoes…

  5. Then they poured żurek and mixed all together. The soup is being cooked.

  6. We ate soup with our guests at school canteen. We put hard-boiled egg in every plate.

  7. And now baking gingerbreads. We start it with making a dough. We need flour, sugar, eggs, milk, honey, spices and baking soda.Roll the dough and cut out different shapes…

  8. Then put the gingerbreads on the baking tray and put them into the oven.

  9. Pupils decorate baked gingerbreads…

  10. They look delicious, don’t they?

  11. Everyone ate them with a great pleasure…. Yummy!

  12. Our guests described our party as a royal event…
