  2. WHAT IS PROSTATE CANCER? Prostate cancer is a cancer that starts in the prostate, a small walnut-sized gland in men that makes seminal fluid. It's one of the most frequent cancers in men, particularly after age 50. In most instances, prostate cancer develops slowly and remains localized to the prostate, doing little damage. But some are aggressive and spread rapidly.

  4. WHO IS AT RISK? Men over the age of 50. Those with a family history of prostate cancer. Men with obesity or a poor lifestyle. High-fat diet and lack of exercise may increase the risk.

  5. HOW DO WE REDUCE THE RISK OF PROSTATE CANCER Maintain a healthy weight. Exercise regularly. Eat a rich diet of vegetables, fruits, and healthy fats. Limit red meat and processed foods. Avoid smoking and reduce alcohol intake.
