  1. GNM Nursing Registration Renewal Nursing is one of the noblest professions in the world. There is a huge demand for nurses all over the world. It has also caused in the immigration of nursing professionals to Middle-east countries, Canada, US, New Zealand, Norway, etc. License is mandatory for practicing health care professionals such as doctors, nurses, etc. Getting a nursing diploma or degree is not enough for working in a hospital. For that you need to register and obtain a state license from the concerned state nursing board. You also need to pass an eligibility exam conducted by the nursing board. General Nursing & Midwifery or GNM is a three and a half-year diploma course in the field of Nursing. After successfully completing the course from a recognized institution, you need to register yourselves with the state nursing board. For example, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNMC) is the autonomous body under the Government of Kerala to give registration to Nurses and Midwives who had undergone their training from recognized institutions. To keep your license valid, you also need to renew your GNM registration from the concerned state nursing council. GNM registration is valid only for five years.
