  2. Bio of Chris • Freshman • Electrical Engineering major • Gained common knowledge applicable to his major • Resistors, CDS cells, Capacitors, etc.

  3. Bio of Chris continued • This course will help me have a better understanding when starting electrical engineering classes like circuits • Plans to graduate with a BA in Electrical Engineering • Words of Wisdom: Take this class

  4. Bio of Matt • Freshman • Still considering all Eng. Majors • Learned about simple programming ideas and the hardware the robots are armed with • Constraints, While statements etc. • Infrared sensors, CDS cell, their own mind • Also about UF EE/ME/CISE related projects

  5. Bio of Matt continued • Since this course gave me a basic understanding of programming it will help me in programming classes • I plan to get a bachelor’s in an engineering field • After achieving said bachelor’s I’ll use it to get a job. • Good class take it and if you pay attention you’ll learn something useful and interesting

  6. Bio of Jason • Freshman • Mechanical Engineering Major • I learned that sometimes even with the correct programmer robots still don’t do what you want them to do • Knowledge from this course will help me when programming some of the inventions I plan to make

  7. Bio of Jason Continued • Plans to complete a double Major in MAE and a minor in EE • Plans to become an inventor • Using the money from his inventions he plans to become the emperor of his own country • Words of Wisdom: Just… pay attention

  8. Robot Story • Gator Tron was out at the local pub. He had too much to drink, just half a beer (small robot) • He then got a “booty-call” from EVE (WALL-E’s GF) and decided to drive over to her apartment drunk • He asked Mega-Tron if he was okay to drive…Mega-Tron said yes EVE is worth it. He then drove to her apartment upon arrival he started puking… and never stopped…

  9. Team Conclusion • Robots are like children, you can only tell them what to do and how to do it; they then choose whether or not to execute the program.
