  3. Habitat of Wild Macaws • Ceaser our pet • He puffs up so things don’t eat him. • Wild macaws eat clay, fruit, nuts and berries • Live by a river in South America or in Mexico • Main predator is man due to the deforestation of the rain forest and capture of the bird for sale

  4. Colors of the macaw feathers • Yellow • Red • Blue • White • green

  5. Christian and Ceaser Christian, a member of our class is one of the students that Ceaser adopted as a friend. Christian is not afraid to hold Ceaser or to feed him when he comes to our classroom. See how calm Christian is while Ceaser sits on his arm? Not everyone in our class will let Ceaser do this.

  6. Things I know about Ceaser • He does not like to fly • He likes to eat cheetos and dried fruit • He likes to sit on Ms. Zadora’s shoulder when she reads to us • He sits in his cage and watches over our class while we do our work • He makes a loud noise “Bra-aack” when people open our classroom door. I guess he doesn’t want them to come into our sanctuary.
