  3. Mission Preparation • Recruitment of companies • Briefing on identified market • Provision of market intelligence, as required • Training/seminars, as required

  4. Mission Logistics • Mission program development • Matchmaking consultant services • Ground transportation • Hotel reservations • Air travel scheduling ( optional ) • Special event planning, ie. tours, dinners, etc • Media/communications coordination

  5. Matchmaking • The matchmaker will consult with each mission participant in order to fully understand the product(s) and/or service(s) to be exported • TTPEI will hire an in-market consultant responsible for arranging a minimum of six (6) pre-qualified meetings with potential clients for each mission participant • All introductions, company profiles and meeting scheduling are the responsibility of the Consultant

  6. On-site Services • On-site matchmaker support (scheduling changes; introduction to various contacts: sector organizations, shippers, regulatory; etc.) • TTPEI logistics staff support • Event execution • Networking with sector organizations, business development/funding agencies • Identification of additional opportunities • Canadian Embassy/Consulate orientation briefing and establishment of contacts for future trade

  7. Mission Follow-up • TTPEI is prepared to assist mission participants in following up on contacts made during the trade mission • Assistance may include: • Additional contact with potential buyers through the matchmaker or directly • Product sample distribution and assistance with shipping, pricing, customs, etc.

  8. Mission Costs • Travel, accommodations and meals: Company responsibility (PEIBD – 40% contribution) • Ground transportation: TTPEI responsibility • Matchmaking consultant: TTPEI responsibility • Mission events: TTPEI responsibility • Mission Wrap-up Dinner: TTPEI responsibility • Mission Follow-up: Shared company/TTPEI responsibility
