    2. Resolution #1 That a task group is convened to establish a system or procedure whereby the content of national specifications, manuals and guidelines in use feature best current practice and reflect a balanced view acceptable to both road owners and product and service providers.

    3. Resolution #1 (cont) That a means of synthesising/disseminating this content as widely and cost-effectively as is reasonable also be examined.

    4. Resolution #2 that an APT Steering Committee be established as a sub-committee of the RPF

    5. Resolution #3 That a Task Group be convened to address issues related to bituminous binder distributors, including: Investigate appropriate validity period for calibration certificate Develop a rational method for the ‘bakkie’ test Investigate spray tolerances for modified binders Develop a protocol for flushing and testing spray bars on-site in line with HSE requirements
