  3. process • It starts with cutting down trees • The logs are then debarked • The logs are then cut to just over 8 feet long • The logs are then sent to the peelerwhere they are smoothed down • Then the wood is sent to the veneer core where the logs are turned very thin into sheets of lumber

  4. process • The sheets are then sent to the gluer • Workers then stack the sheets into a “sandwich” • The plywood sandwich’s are then pressed into panels with the cold press • The panels are sent to be heat treated after the cold press. This is called the hot press • Panels are then trimmed to size • Panels are then sanded
