  2. Disposal Make sure that you dispose of all materials in the science lab. Certain chemicals can be disposed of different way such as blood.

  3. Biological animal bacteria is biological and is very dangerous. Make sure you always wear goggles ,gloves ,and a apron Notify your teacher if you come in contact with an biological bacteria or animals.

  4. Extreme temperature • Make sure all fire equipment is turned off when you leave the room. • Make sure you wear the proper equipment when handling things like dry ice • go to your teacher for first aid if burned

  5. Sharp objects You should have extreme care when dealing with sharp objects Never run or play in the lab If cut go to your teacher for first aid

  6. Fumes • Be aware of harm full fumes and the and make sure there is good ventilation in your work area. • Never release dangerous gases in the lab

  7. Electrical • Don’t attempt to fix any electrical problems in the lab. • If there are electrical problems notify the teacher.

  8. Irritants • Irritants should always such as pollen or moth balls should always be handled while wearing a dust mask • If you inhale irrants go to your teacher for first aid.

  9. Chemicals • Such as ammonia and sulfuric acid should be handled while wearing an apron , gloves and , goggles • if you waste or come in contact with chemicals immediately flush the area and notify your teacher.

  10. Toxic • Toxic can be poisons if touched or swallowed . • Always wash hands thoroughly and dispose of them as the teacher directs you to do

  11. Open flame • Make sure you always make sure you know were all the fire safety equipment is located. • Notify your teacher if there is a fire.
