Basically, this is 6 lane bridge over lake – a water depth of 61 m atop 61 m of soft slit. Previously, this bridge was only a four-lane bridge which replaced with six-lane bridge in 2016. The total construction cost of Evergreen Point Floating Bridge was $4.5 billion.

Basically, this is a two-lane bridge which carries an average of 14,000 vehicles in a day. In 2017, engineers recommended the construction of three-lane bridge in place of Damerara Harbour Bridge (two-lane).
