However, the transportation infrastructure of the United States is structurally deficient and functionally obsolete. Undeniably, not all the infrastructure is defunct. Still, there are some bridges that you should see in America!

  4. Lake Pontchartrain/Causeway Bridge Well, this bridge is the longest over-water bridge across the world. Causeway or Lake Pontchartrain bridge has been open since 1956. Well, this bridge is located in Louisiana and is approximately 40 miles long. This bridge was built like a highway. More than 9,000 pilings holding Causeway bridge over the water.

The Golden Gate Bridge connects San Francisco to Marin. Built in 1937, the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the longest suspension bridges with a 4,200-foot-long suspension span.
