Lillah means 'for the sake of Allah' and is a type of Sadaqah donation. Instead of being made to an individual or persons in need, it can be made to an institution such as an orphanage, hospital, or mosque. Lillah Donation is not like Zakah which one is obliged to give, rather it is given for the betterment of others, and be it Muslims or people of other faiths.
