  • These events have a written test that the team takes collaboratively (together). At state the top 15 participate in a role play.

    • Parliamentary Procedures (each member takes the written test separately and their scores are averaged)

How to Be Successful
  • Read the guidelines very carefully.
    • Double and triple check
  • Check the performance rubric
    • Memorize the points the judges are grading you on
  • PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE
  • Try new events, you never know the outcome
  • Chapter Events have strict guidelines
    • Make sure you follow them.
  • Meet ALL DEADLINES.
