Through the medium of Scouting, the community have equipped us with some very special skills. Skills that in times of crisis can be put to good use It is our duty to place those skills and the resources held in trust by us, at the disposal of the community who have supported us so well

We can place children out of harm’s way through natural disaster, into our Dens, and use those skills and resources to deliver a proven programme
Who can help? Anyone can Scouts Rovers Leaders Adult Supporters Joeys Committee Members We can all have a role in supporting the community in times of need
Purpose To engage with the community providing a supportive environment for the children of those affected by natural disasters within queensland
Method utilise the skills held within scouts to provide respite for children suffering during a disaster by engaging them in a scouting programme in a safe environment

Resources Required Support from Government Transport Leaders willing to share the load in times of crisis Dens with suitable accommodation Programmes and programming resources
