  13. Source F Richard Mugg-Mence diary record January 1802 It is 6 months now since the decision was made to open up the great hall to allow the carriage of goods from Sidbury to the back of Wylds lane. The route will reduce time travelling across Sidbury and will allow greater use of the building.’ Source E Amanda Fretwell Museum eduction officer January 2010 ‘The commandery has evolved since it’s creation in the 11th Century. The building had many uses and many owners. Unfortunately there is little written evidence to explain the physical changes to the building. Most of the owners were people of action but not prepared to record all their ideas in the written form’ Source G Restoration reports 1976 Brendan Conolly Following intervention from the city council the additional funding for the Oriel window is now complete. It has been decided that the full completion of the window is unnecessary and that in order to restore it to the manner of the Wyld family is unnecessary and far too expensive.
