Pediatric Mediastinal Liposarcoma: A Case Study

A 6-year-old girl with a large mass occupying most of her hemithorax, causing contralateral mediastinal displacement. Ultrasound and CT scans show heterogeneous mass, pleural effusion near the heart, and diaphragmatic inversion. Includes coronal reconstruction revealing mediastinal and diaphragmatic deviation.

  1. LIPOSARCOMA INDIFERENCIADONiña de 6 años con masa que ocupa casi todo el hemitórax D y desplazamiento mediastínico contralateral. Imagen ecográfica donde observamos masa heterogénea, derrame pleural adyacente al corazón e inversión diafragmática. En TC, tumoración ocupando hemitórax con desplazamiento y colapso posterior del pulmón, reconstrucción coronal donde se visualiza desviación mediastínica y diafragmática.
