  5. The dingo • The Dingo is a wild Australian Dog . The live in underground dens near water and they are Australia's Largest predator

  6. wombat • wombats found in south-eastern Australia, including Tasmania, as central Queensland. Their young develop I pouches like Kangaroos

  7. kookaburra • Kookaburras are best known for their unmistakable call, which sounds uncannily like loud, echoing human laughter

Environmental threats • Introduction of exotic species like cane toads, rabbits, willows, black striped mussels and red fire ants cause over grazing and they eat peoples plants. • coal mining is a big issue in north- east of Australia contributes to global warming. • Climate change is causing the sea levels to rise and global warming
