  2. RULES/ RESPONSIBILITIES Always be in class before the late bell rings. Always come to class prepared. This includes your agenda, math binder, pencil, and your homework. Be on-task and engaged in the math lesson. Always show respect to your teacher, your peers and yourself. *The consequence will depend upon the violation of the student. * A reward system is in place for students who meet and exceed classroom expectations such as using good behavior, turning in assignments, answering questions, etc.

  3. Always be in class before the late bell rings. • You should be in the room getting started on the warm up. • This is also the time to sharpen your pencil and to get out your homework if it was assigned.

  4. Always come to class prepared. This includes your agenda, math binder, pencil, and your homework. • You will only be permitted to go to your locker during class at the teacher's discretion and you must have your agenda. • You will not be permitted to leave the room for any reason without an agenda. • You will lose points off any classwork you are unable to complete due to your being unprepared. • Homework will be assigned at least 3 days a week and is due at the beginning of the period the next day. • Any homework turned in after it has been collected for that day will be considered late unless you have a note from a parent or previous arrangements have been made. • Late homework will be accepted up to 24 hours after it has been checked and earn a 70%.

  5. Be on-task and engaged in the math lesson. • Raise your hand and wait to be acknowledged to ask a question or get out of your seat. • Participate in class discussions, group or independent work. • Follow instructions from teacher the first time they are given. • Listen to your peers and teacher.

  6. Always show respect to your teacher, your peers and yourself. • Always use proper tone and acceptable language at all times. • Listen to your peers and teacher. • No calling out. • No talking during instruction. • Keep hands, feet and objects to self.

  7. Consequences • 1st offense is a warning. • 2nd offense is parent contact. • 3rd offense is detention. • 4th offense is an office referral.

  8. *The consequence will depend upon the violation of the student. *Food and drinks are not permitted in math class.

  9. A reward system is in place for students who meet and exceed classroom expectations such as using good behavior, turning in assignments, answering questions, etc.
