  2. SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard The key feature of the SMART Board interactive whiteboard use in the classroom is its capability to provide interactive learning activities in the classroom that engage students in learning.

  3. SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard There are currently over 600SMART Board interactive whiteboards installed inclassrooms throughout the District, with plans for 88 more boards to be installed this year.

  5. SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard • Next year, the Measure G Bond Initiative will provide the purchase and installation of a total of 88 SMART Boards Interactive white boards at four schools. EDISON CENTURY DAVIS MAC ARTHUR

SMART Board Interactive Whiteboard Schools and teachers with SMART Boards have a variety of options for training: • SMART Board classes scheduled during the school day with substitute coverage provided. • After school staff development classes. • Training held at the school site. • SAUSD teachers can also attend SMART Board training offered at the Orange County Office of Education at no cost. • SMART Board staff development resources are also available online for District staff on the District staff website. • All twelve schools with new SMART Boards have a technology department staff member assigned to provide their teachers extended training and support.
