  2. Soprano: Soprano: This type of Ukulele is best for kids and beginners as it is very small in size. It has an approximate length of 53 centimeters. It is the standard type of Ukulele. Since it is small in size, so it is easy to carry and you can practice it anywhere.

  3. Concert: Concert: This type is a bit larger than the soprano with a length of around 58 centimeters. It is also named as super soprano due to its more length. It is known for giving loud and fuller tone and is a good choice for people with larger hands.

  4. Tenor: Tenor: This type of ukulele is also named as taro patch. It has a typical length of 66 centimeters which made it larger than the soprano and concert. It is capable to give more volume than others.

  5. Baritone: Baritone: It has a length of 74 centimeters and it looks like a smaller tenor guitar. It is a lower pitched instrument and often employs linear tuning. Baritone is the most expensive type of ukulele.

  6. Contrabass: Contrabass: This type of ukulele is the largest with an approximate length of 81 centimeters. It is the recent innovation with the highest number of frets.
