  2. About the writterR.K Laxman • Rasipuram Krishnaswami Iyer Laxman (24 October 1921 – 26 January 2015) was an Indian cartoonist, illustrator, and humorist.Hewas best known for his creation The Common Man and for his daily cartoon strip, You Said It in The Times of India, which started in 1951.

  3. Laxman started his career as a part-time cartoonist, working mostly for local newspapers and magazines. While as a college student, he illustrated his older brother R. K. Narayan's stories in The Hindu. His first full-time job was as a political cartoonist for The Free Press Journal in Mumbai. Later, he joined The Times of India, and became famous for The Common Man character which turned out to be the turning point in Laxman's life.

About the story • This story is about Mahendra who was a firm in construction and did work at different sites. • He had an asset named Ishwaran , His cook. • Iswaran use to go with mahendra where he was told to go and cooked food for Mahendra and in night he use tell Mahendra stories . • Iswaran learnt the talent of story telling by reading the books of tmil horror thrilled stories.

  5. Mahendra also loved to listen to the stories of iswaran . Every night he would sit after dinner and use to listen to the stories of him. • He told Mahendra a story about a elephant escaped from forest and entered the school and he told him that he faced the elephanat very bravely. • Iswaran was having a speciality that wherever they use to go , he use to cook the food within 1 hour with fresh vegetables even if there were no shops of vegetables miles away from the palce.

  6. Iswaran use to get up early in the morning and use to prepare a delicious breakfast for Mahendra . After mahendra went he use to wash the clothes and clean the place and after that he use to take a nap. In the afternoon Mahendra would come to have lunch and then in the evieng he use to prepare dinner for him . • One night after having dinner he started to tell Mahendra that when they came to this place he saw many skeleton of dead bodies and yesterday at night he heard some unpleasant sound something like sound of ghost .

After listening to the story of iswaran , Mahendra got nervous and got very scared to sleep at night alone . • Somehow, he slept but at midnight he woke up by some sound , When he looked out of the window then he saw something strange which he has never seen in his life . It was something like a ghost . He got very scared and ........... • Next day immediately in morning he left the place and never came back there .

  8. Summary • This was an story of two people . After listening to the story of iswaran , Mahendra got very scared and due to this scare he was woke up in the midnight and saw something . • From my side whatever he saw was totally because of the scarceness in his mind regarding ghost .
