  2. Remote Learning can be overwhelming! Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns • Students please follow the schedule that is posted each day in the power point. Assignments are clearly marked and have due dates. If a due date does not work on a specific day, then reach out or try to complete your work by the end of the week. • Assignments will be recorded in PowerSchool the day that they are due. • Assignments will be recorded as “Missing” if they are not submitted on the due date. Missing icon will remain in PowerSchool until the assignment has been completed.

The link to the book and the audio is provided on the next slide. • Assignments are broken down for each day of the week • You will need to work on Assignments in order now that we are starting the book. • Pay attention to due dates! • Be sure to submit work when completed in TEAMS.

Tuesday, April 21, 2020 ELA-Mrs. Leonard • Review Unit 10 Greek/Latin ppt.-PowerPoint will introduce this week’s roots. • Unit 10 ppt can be found in TEAMS and on the webpage under downloads • A copy of Unit 10 Root words can be found in TEAMS and on the webpage under downloads • Once you have reviewed the words then complete- the Greek and Latin Forms Assignment in TEAMS • There are two forms to complete. • Due Wednesday

Thursday, April 23, 2020 ELA-Mrs. Leonard • Read Chapters 7-9 of Refugee (pages 34-55) • Josef: On a Train to Hamburg, Germany—1939 • Isabel: Just outside Havana, Cuba—1994 • Mahmoud: Aleppo, Syria—2015Last sentence -“...we have to leave Syria.” • Then complete the form assignment in TEAMS on Ch. 7-9 • Due Friday

Be sure to check PowerSchool throughout the week.
