  1. Who exactly is Tyson Dirksen?

  2. Tyson Dirksen is a high- performance green building expert and the founder of the Evolve companies, where he led his team on healthy, sustainable, innovative, and resilient real estate development projects.

  3. Evolve is a vertically integrated real estate firm that started with a focus on sustainable development.

  4. Nonetheless, Tyson saw that indoor air quality and building health were at critical levels after years of design, construction, commissioning, and a significant amount of time renovating the building (seeing within walls, crawl spaces, and attics) and saw the need to address these issues as well.

  5. Tyson witnessed the environmental impact of the 1980s drought while chasing lizards, frogs, snakes, and spiders through Northern California orchards.

  6. At a young age, he became passionate about environmental conservation, the value of raw materials, and sustainability. With his parents involved in real estate, he began to consider how the built environment affected climate change and raw resource consumption.
