Academic Tasks • Reflections on your learning in four domains • Literature and Textual Analysis • Language, Linguistics, and Literacy • Composition and Rhetoric • Communications: Speech, Media, and Creative Performance • Selection of, description of, and reflection about three to five pieces of evidence for each domain

  3. Reflection on your Learning • Review your transcript—consider the courses you have taken that relate to this domain • Make notes—What do you remember from each class? What points seemed especially important? What did you learn? How were you changed by the class? (It might be helpful to look over assignments you’ve written for these classes to help you remember.) • Make connections—Once you’ve made notes about individual classes, start to consider the questions for your Domain Statement in the e-portfolio description/template.

  4. Reflection on your Learning Considering your notes, compose an overall reflection in three separate sections (perhaps totaling as much as 750 words). • Disciplinary Reflections • Personal Reflections • Projections Toward Teaching

  5. Evidence • Select—For each domain, choose three to five pieces of evidence. • Describe—For each piece of evidence, provide a brief (no more than two or three sentence) description of the context in which you composed it and the content of the artifact. • Analyze—As you have practiced doing in 417 and 419, connect particular features of the artifacts (and particular places in the artifacts) with particular aspects of the competencies for that domain. Make certain to use key words and phrases from the competency descriptions to anchor your analysis.

  6. Technical Tasks • Create an efolio account • Assemble your eportfolio in structure like the example (that is, four domains with evidence pages for each domain)
