  1. ATK Seniorit Mukanetti ry Is an association for senior citizens to master the new information technology.A member have to be more than 50 years of age

AssociationMukanetti • The assosiation promotes equality between different generations by training elderly people to master the new information technology in every field of life. • Learning new things adds to senior citizens activities, improves the quality of life as well as helps them manage everyday life more easily

  3. A brief history • The activities began 1995 with courses in computing skills for elderly people • These students began to get together discussing problems according to computing • The association Mukanetti was founded in spring 2000

  4. Projects • City of Tampere and eTampere project, enabled the continuation of activities since year 2000. • ”Tikapuut”, since 2001, the project for creating a network of organications who train computer skills. They work together to train elderly people. • RAY´s (Finland´s Slot Machine Assosiation) funding 2003 – 2005 to Tutor project, enable training, supervision and arrangement of peer tutor activities
