  2. WELCOME TO The DIY Plastics business was founded in 1973, from a barn on a farm in Wantage, Oxfordshire. From the start the company concentrated on plastic sheeting for DIY and home improvement, offered through a catalogue and supplied by mail order over the whole of the UK. In 1990 we moved our entire business to a large warehouse in Faringdon, on the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire border. In 2005 DIY Plastics (UK) was purchased by Till and Whitehead Ltd. and subsequently relocated to York 2014 brings a new name, TW Plastics. With over 40 years in the plastics business much has changed, but the company’s key objective remain exactly the same as in 1973: • To offer a comprehensive range of quality plastic products. • To provide reliable nationwide home delivery of everything we sell. • To give expert and knowledgeable advice about all our products, and friendly and personal service before, during and after a customer’s order.   3. TW PLASTICS DISPATCH OF YOUR ORDER All orders are acknowledged by e-mail or post on day of receipt. We aim to send out all orders within 3-5 working days (subject to stock availability). Please remember many items have to be individually measured, cut and packed, and that there will be further time in transit, usually up to 3 working days. We will, of course, notify you if any item is likely to be out of stock for any length of time. with your order then nothing is lost. If you choose to ask the courier to leave your item without a signature this is done so at your own risk; if there is any damage we will not be able to accept any claim to replace goods. Any claim for shortage or damage should please be notified to us in writing within 3 days of receipt. DELIVERY TO YOUR DOOR All products will be delivered to your door. Our carriage charges apply for mainland UK. For Ireland, Highlands and all offshore islands please contact us to confirm. Please examine your goods on receipt. If you mark the carrier sheet as unchecked we will not be able to claim for the items and it will cost you to replace them. If you sign as damaged and nothing is wrong FREE SAMPLES We’d much rather you are confident in the product you are ordering, rather than having to return the goods because they are not what you expected. Samples of many of our products will cost you nothing. Just phone, email or write in for a sample request. CUTTING SERVICE We use carriers and Royal Mail to send out all of our products and part of any order maybe sent in separate packages, although they will leave us on the same day please allow a few extra days for the complete delivery. EXPRESS DELIVERY An express delivery service is available for all phone orders received before 12 noon . Unfortunately we can not offer this service on any web orders or any orders to the Highlands, Ireland or any offshore island. We offer a full cut-to-size service for many of our products in this catalogue (straight cuts only) to a tolerance of 3mm. If you are in any doubt please contact us for advice. EPDM FLAT ROOF COVERING STRONG, TOUGH BUT EASY TO HANDLE EPDM is a tough black rubber sheeting manufactured to resist the worst of the British weather, the UV degrading effects of sunlight, and most common chemicals. Its rubbery stretch quality takes care of uneven surfaces, and means you can lay straight over the top of old bitumen felt (with underfelt). There’s no glueing, sticking or heatsealing – your EPDM roof cover is simply nailed in place round the edges and along the special fixing flaps, which are spaced roughly every 1.5m (5ft) apart on larger sheets. For smaller or narrower sheets with one dimension less than 1.5m (5ft), edge fixing only is quite sufficient. EPDM does not harden over time, so will not uplift.
