  1. Middle eastern countries with problems

  2. Tunisia • The Tunisian government is fighting with the Islam extremists in the country, while unemployment rates are very high.

  3. ALGERIA • There are many poor people living in Algeria, while the cost of living has steadily began increasing.

  4. Egypt • Fighting between the Muslim brotherhood and the people backing president Morsy

  5. Libya • The US sent troops to chase down al Qaeda members in Libya causing a civilian backlash

  6. Saudi Arabia • There is recent backlash against the rampant sexism prohibiting women to work in certain jobs.

  7. Jordan • Taxes are rising and the city of Maan has been abundant with protesters lighting fires to government buildings and cars.

  8. Yemen • The people are losing jobs and demand the government help fix it.

  9. Syria • The rebels have been fighting the Syrian government demanding a change in presidents.

  10. My Interests • I am most interested in Syria right now because of all the talk about it recently. If the US intervened there would be a massive backlash from the US citizens and it probably wouldn’t help the fighting.
