PII + activites at ATL • Ten assembled actuators (PII +) and one set of manufactured parts made at Avasarala Techologies Ltd., Bangalore, India (ATL) • Functional tests conducted at works of ATL at Bangalore Actuator functional test.xls • Third party inspection of parts done by TMT at Pasadena-Results acceptable; Clearance to go ahead for the rest provided by TMT collection_of_AML_prototype_actuator_reports.xlsx TMT.CTR.PRE.aa.aaa.CCR01

Brief overview of actuator activity in India. • Summary of efforts at ATL. • Learning from ATL. • ATL noted that some hole dimensions were missing in the SAT Housing drawing. TMT noted and corrected the drawing • ATL also noted some missing dimensions and wrong dimensions in other drawings like that of Connecting Link, Upper Connect Block etc. TMT noted and corrected the same. India TMT Co-ordination Centre (ITCC) • While assembling Connecting Links and Copper plate, ATL found centre to centre distance of holes i.e., 93mm of Copper Plate was not matching with the Connecting Links. TMT checked and changed the dimension of Copper plate. • A fixture for assembling the magnets was designed and made by ATL which enables magnets to be assembled for an actuator by 2 personnel in 20 minutes. India TMT Co-ordination Centre (ITCC) • Schedule • Delay in schedule in first et of parts and 2 assembled actuators. • Delay due to non-availability of certified material in small quantities and also technical problems encounterd in casting. • Problem encountered in obtaining bought out items from McMaster • Schedule for second stage-manufacture and assembly of 8 actuators-ahead of planned period TMT.CTR.PRE.aa.aaa.CCR01 7

Avalon_Copy of Offer sheet for TMT (12-Sep-13).xls • Inputs required from TMT about materials substitution, list of bought out items, fasteners and assembly procedure. • Avalon will provide the standards of AMS for alternate raw material • Assembly, shipping and packing price will be supplied by Avalon. Pressure die casting for production • Avalon will provide the details for Delrin and 18-8 SS material. • Avalon will provide the standards of AMS for alternate raw material • Godrej and L&T to be contacted to provide quotation.
