WP3 – SA1 : EURO-VO Registry • EURO-VO Registry setup by D3.1 October 2008 • Convert ESA-VO full Registry into EURO-VO Registry • Finalize migration to new IVOA Registry of Resources v1.1 • Make it available from the EURO-VO web pages • Announce it at IVOA level and European level • Central EURO-VO Registry • Full IVOA searchable Registry of VO Resources • EURO-VO registry harvests all other European and worldwide (harvestable) registries • EURO-VO registry can be harvested by other European and worldwide registries • Mainly ESA work

EURO-VO central Registry : Use Cases • Registering VO Resources • People / data centres can register VO resources directly into the EURO-VO central registry • Data Centre / National Projects can have their own publishing registries, register their VO resources in their own registry, which then get harvested into the EURO-VO central registry • People / data centres can register their own VO resources into their data centre / national project registries, which then get harvested into the EURO-VO central registry • Searching VO Resources • People / VO apps developers can search directly into the EURO-VO central registry • Data Centre / National Projects can search their own Registry • If this is an IVOA full searchable Registry • Content will depend if they also harvest the EURO-VO central Registry

5. WP3 – SA1 : Registry Curation tools • Goal : ensure the quality / curation of the VO resources into the EURO-VO Registry • Quality is propagated to other registries harvesting the EURO-VO Registry • Availability of curation tools for VO Resources by D3.2 February 2009 • Review work going on in that area of curation utilities at European and IVOA level • Review list of VO resources which can be “curated” when inserted into the registry and define plan of actions • Development of the curation tools of VO Resources • Implementation of these tools into the EURO-VO Registry • ESA work, + others ?

6.
