UNDAF Environment Priority Area Development Outcomes The Iraqi state has institutionalized policy and operational framework for the sustainable management and conservation of natural resources. (UNIDO, FAO, UNESCO, UN-HABITAT, UNICEF, UNDP, UNEP) The Iraqi state is responsive to climate change issues in line with its commitments to ratified international agreements. (WHO UNIDO, UNESCO, UN-HABITAT, UNICEF, UNDP) Government of Iraq has improved programmes for the prevention and control of pollution. (UNIDO, FAO, WHO, UN-HABITAT, UNICEF, UNDP, UNEP) Government of Iraq has institutionalized improved mechanisms to prevent, mitigate and respond to natural and man-made disasters.
