Evey's age Evey is 16 in the comics – more childlike, more naïve – this makes V her mentor and a father figure. She is more dependent on him and never willingly leaves the Shadow Gallery. Evey is a young woman in the movie – has a more solid stance on her views. Her relationship with V is more of a romance. Evey leaves V behind twice.
