  2. The Beginning of Baikal • Lake Baikal was originally a river bed carved out of the earth by a glacier. It soon evolved to a lake thanks to water from the mountains that surround it.

  3. Rare Wildlife of Lake Baikal • The freshwater seal is one of the rarest animals in Lake Baikal’s waters, it is very large, and graceful for it’s size. • Some other swimming organisms live as deep as one mile!

  4. Size And Surroundings Of Lake Baikal • There are many tennis courts near Lake Baikal • There is also many mountains and lots of tundra alpine or not which surround the lake. • Finally there is lots of deep forest

  5. Human Harm To Lake Baikal • There are many paper and wood mills which pollute the waters • Humans also are dumping trash and chemicals into the lake which needs to be stopped
