Procedure to resolve the Brother Printer Error 46:: • Close down your printer first and after that disconnect it from the power plug. • Now, press the “Menu” or “Begin” button, try to hold both on the same time and keeping in mind that doing to connect the printer to a power plug to switch it on. This will start the Maintenance mode on your Brother printer. See at your printer screen which will flash “Maintenance mode” or for this situation just “error 46”. • Now, to resolve this issue or error, we have to set the Absorber pad counter to zero which because of some technical issue indicates full, causing the error 46. • Now, for the printers with physical number pad, just write 80 to start the procedure and use the arrow keys to indicate the alternatives from the menu screen. Look down to the point when you run over “Cleanse” among with a number on the screen. • Now, enter “2783” and look at the screen the number before “Cleanse” will be set to zero after this. Now, go back to the menu or just close the settings. • Press “99” to leave the menu and restart the printer to give it a chance to check the changes on your printer.
