  3. Distribution • Originally from Australia Transported in to Guam by accident on a ship cargo in the 1950’s

  4. Food Web • These snakes eat frogs, lizards, small birds, and also bird eggs. • We were not able to find a predator of this animal .

  5. Effects on people • Caused power outages every week • Ate some of the native species such as birds that were used for food by the people

  6. Success • It has a plentiful amount of food • Also very little if any predators

  7. Effect on ecosystem • Birds distribute seeds for trees. But the snake is eating the birds so there are less trees. • Less native trees
