  2. Workflow • Obtain producer data for CCC Cotton A5 • Name, address, admin State, County code • Tax ID number (same as used with FSA) • Farm numbers • Landlord data including shares • Lien information • Sales contracts

  3. Workflow (Cont’d) • Obtain FSA-211 if applicable • Obtain CCC-10 • Conduct lien searches • Obtain CCC-679 • Obtain or execute CCC 605 with POA • Review beneficial interest • Begin CCC 770 LSA checklist • Obtain eligibility data and make determination • Obtain DCIA certification

  4. Privacy Act of 1974 • Protected data is any data that contains personal identifying information including a personal name and any of the following: • SS number • DOB • Home address • Financial info • Other items, collections or groupings that contains a personal name or ID number

  5. Privacy Act of 1974 • Outside of government and approved facilities, prohibits downloading and storage to: • PC’s • Portable devices • Hard disk drives • Removable media

  6. Privacy Act of 1974 • Data to be transmitted outside of government or approved facilities must be encrypted or otherwise protected • CMA process data via secure FTP • ACRS by PKWARE • 1099 data by PKWARE • E-mail attachments by WinZip encryption • Omitting producer ID numbers
