Exciting opportunity to further your career, network Build your network, learn new skills Engage with other leaders in the field and receive expert feedback on your strategies Discover ways to build your skills, meet with other COMBI professionals, and build your network

  19. Asiya’s Welcome Welcome to the new and improved Global COMBI networking platform. You’ll notice that this platform is different than the one you have seen before. This new tool offers you much more control over how you engage with others, how you build your profile within this group, and how you can work with others to reach common goals. Please take some time to check out all the exciting features this new platform has to offer. For example, the calendar function allows you to import your own calendars from other sites such as Google, and Yahoo!. Also, you can use the Shoutbox to leave short messages about your COMBI successes or leave quick notes on issues you might want others’ opinions on. The Topic Tracker is a tool that lets you form groups, assign tasks, and keeps everyone on schedule. It’s a handy project management system that makes remote group work a breeze while keeping everyone on task. This networking platform is a new initiative for the Department and we hope it will go some way to connecting COMBI practitioners around the world and that it will greatly facilitate dialogue, information sharing and peer-support among us all. Please do make it your own: share your COMBI plans; connect with each other on developing behavioural objectives and your SMACKING experiences; and set up your own groups/discussions forums. Add a request for people who might want to be moderators or helping develop the page (group stewards)

  20. Institutional Partners • Include JPGs of logos • Require click-through for more information in order to shorten page

  21. A Timeline for Moving Forward 18 to 36 weeks 8 to 24 weeks 4 to 12 weeks

  22. Key Questions Moving Forward • Why use OpenAtrium? • Barriers against using Facebook or LinkedIn? • How much involvement can key moderator have? • Who would take on this role? • Estimate it would be a 10%-25% role if done properly and scaled up to full usage.

  23. The Way Forward—OpenAtrium • Shorten verbiage on OpenAtrium Page • Send out a message to all current users informing them of the update to a new page • Ensure there is some new content for them to engage with • Ask for stewards/moderators • Solicit comments • Be prepared for a time investment
