Essential oils are extracted from plant sources such as petals, leaves, nuts, kernels, barks, stalks, flowers, seeds, gums and resins from trees. The term ‘oil’ is very different from the usual oils we use,i.e., for cooking, lighting, etc. Essential oils are concentrated essences which are much lighter than water and evaporate very quickly.
