  1. 1st World Congress of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis • May 31-June 3 2006 Stockholm • Idea engendered by IFPA (International Federation of Psoriasis Associations • Combined scientific meeting for physician researchers and clinicians and parallel meeting aimed at patient service league representatives, allied health personnel, and patients • 400-800 attendees? • Modeled after meetings such as lupus, diabetes meetings • Need • Bring together derms and rheums • Bring together physicians, allied health personnel, patients • Advocacy

Programs • Arrivals late Tuesday, May 30 and early Wednesday, May 31 • Wednesday (5/31): Task force meetings in morning, conjoint GRAPPA and IPC meeting from 11-5, followed by reception dinner • Thursday morning • Coffee and pastries over posters • Genetics and proteomics (Gladman, • Mid-day Industry Symposium • Immunobiology and pathophysiology (Stahle, Ritchlin) • Dinner reception in Town Hall with King of Sweden Friday (6/2) • QOL, function, participation (van de Kerkhof, Taylor) • Mid-day industry symposium • State of the world in psoriasis and PsA care: reports from seven continents. Chaired by Mark Lebwohl and Patient Service League exec TBD • Highlights of GRAPPA and IPC to introduce the attendees to these organizations • Dinner reception

Parallel program for Patient Service Leagues, Allied health personnel, and patients • Parallel sessions, Thursday-Saturday • Review talks by physicians, nurses, or patient service league execs on Thursday-Saturday • Opportunity for breakout discussion groups (with hope to capture some of the discussion) • Perhaps a patient Delphi could be conducted re. domain prioritization • Participate in Friday afternoon global care discussion as a plenary with the physicians

Logistics • Finances • Sponsors (thus far): Abbott, Connectics, Fujisawa, Genentech, Schering Plough, Serono, Wyeth • Anticipated complimentary registration and flight for faculty, key patient service league representatives. • Will need further fund raising or creative logistics to find coverage for individuals not otherwise paid for. • Deadline: Feb. 1, 2006: abstract submission, talk proposal. To be sent to NPF (Liz Turk), who will then dispurse them to appropriate committee chairs. Goal is to have a derm and rheum mini-review and ~ 4 oral presentations. Others can present at posters.
