  4. Redesign blog

  5. User survey

  6. Feedback from survey Q: What would you change about Nesta? Language People “A bit more focus on simple language” “Less assumption that everyone shares Nesta language” “Think about your audience more “ “Make more of your awardee alumni.” “More examples and case studies” “More about your staff” Content “More innovation news” “Maybe part of it could be more 'newspaper‘, aggregating interest”

  7. More feedback from survey “The only thing I would like to see more of is the personal - for example, I like the way you have made this survey quite personal and friendly. Nestacould benefit a little from that, as I imagine they have really nice people working there. So one idea would be to link to a blog from the project, which has some honest and personal reflections about the work that you are doing.”

  8. Internal site search data

  9. Google analytics News & Features About Us Publications Creative Economy Lab Blogs Economic Growth Site stats for Nov 19 2011 – Nov 19 2012

  10. Card sorting

  11. User interviews “I really liked your Creative Enterprise Toolkit – more please” “It should be: here's everything we know about a theme – our reports, our people and so on” “It’s like a big soup” “People are going to want to know about the whole theme. They want to know what Nesta are doing about, say, ageing” “We've grouped it by theme because we think people expect to find all the thinking about one thing in one place” “I think there's a clear social innovation theme - how to do things differently” “You guys do some really random stuff!”

  12. Staff feedback Here are the things you’ve asked me over 2 years: • Static URLs • Better search • Ability to post own blogs • Better accessibility
