  3. Goingout Boys and girls go to the park to talk and have fun. We also go to shops to buy clothes and other things. We normally have a group of friends and we meet, specially at weekends and go out to do something.

  4. Places we go in our free time • Cinema • Disco • Going out (with the friends) • Theatre • Sports • Places to eat

  5. At weekend People go out around Madrid Go shopping Walk in the parks

  6. Foreign people visit the museums, the most importants buildings... • Young people go shopping along the most famous streets. • There are people who go out to walk with their family or friends to the parks .

  7. Going to the cinema If we are bored and we don’t have to do anything we can go to the cinema. In Madrid there are a lot of cinemas and we can see films in original version.

  8. Disco There are many discos in Madrid. Young people can onlygoto light discos, and thesesessionsusually open onSaturdays. Thesessionbegins at 6pm and finish at 10pm. Examples of these discos are: Kapital, Radical, Pacha, Joy...

  9. Theatre In Madrid there are a lot of theatreslikeHaagenDazsTheatre, AlcazarTheatre, La Zarzuela Theatre… There are alsomanysmalltheatrestoo. Goingtothetheatreisanotherinterestingoptionto do in the free time.

  10. SPORTS Another alternative to spend our free time is playing sports.In Madrid we have many places where we can do sports, like sport centres, parks, etc.

  12. FOOTBALL Football is one of the most popular sports, and the most important teams in Madrid are: • Real Madrid • Atlético de Madrid • Getafe • RayoVallecano But there are many more teams

  13. BASKETBALL Basketballisone of themostpopularssportstoo. In Madrid there are manybasketballcourts, and this sport is followed by many people, but not so many as in football. There are many important teams like: • Real Madrid • Estudiantes

  14. TENNIS This sport isvery popular too. In Madrid there are manycourtswhereyou can practisetennis. Ourmostfamoustennisplayers are Rafael Nadal, Ferrer, Ferrero, Moyá, Feliciano López…
