This document outlines the process for managing disputes related to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), detailing the roles involved, from initial allocation to final decision-making. A supervisor investigates the dispute, reviews documentation, and coordinates with Legal Services for recommendations. Once the legal review is complete, the application is sent to the Deputy Chief Constable (DCC) for a final decision. The process also involves arranging for fingerprints to be taken and communicating results back to the applicant and relevant departments.
