As an accomplished musical director, he has directed music for dance ballets, documentary films, television serials, dance dramas, albums, skits, and mimes. His recent music direction includes the Hindi art film Kala, the serial “Triveni Sangama” on ETV, and the animated film Mahaveer. In 2003, he was awarded the “Hero Honda Suurtaranga” Award for Best Young Artist. Ganesh Desai sings in five languages, Kannada, Marathi, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Telugu. Namita Desai has been an active participant in many dance features both on stage and on television. She has traveled widely across India and abroad, presenting solo and group performances. She has also choreographed many dance dramas and acted in several television serials including “Moodalamane” and “Maneyondu Mooru Baagilu” on ETV ,“Swabhimana” and “Nooru Dinagalu” on Zee Kannada. Namita will be performing Bharatanatyam, classical dance.
