  1. Blue October are from Houston, Texas and formed in 1995.

  2. Their first album, The Answers was released in 1998

  3. Justin sings about mental illness such as depression and schizophrenia, he alsosings about drug use and treatment, love and betrayal, divorce and custody battles.

  4. Consent to Treatment, the bands second album, was released in 1999

  5. Everything that I write about is the truth," says Furstenfeld. "I can't write about anything that hasn't Happened to me.”

  6. History for sale was released in 2003

  7. Their biggest album to date, foiled, was released in 2006

  8. Justin also performs solo with the alias 5591 which was his patient # when he was admitted into a mental institution

  9. Approaching normal was released in 2009

  10. The last studio album was any man in america

  11. The band is currently in the studio working on another album. Justin is on a solo tour that includes his poetry, spoken word and acoustic performances.
