  2. Present Progressive There are several ways to express a specific action in the present. One of these forms is called Present Progressive. When an action takes place at this moment we use the Present Progressive.

  3. Time Expressions now at this moment – at present right now- Look! Listen! * today * tonight * this afternoon-

  4. Good Night Mr. Cohen Taken from: “Neighbors” It is night. It’s eleven o’clock. Mr. Cohen is in bed. His eyes are closed. He is sleeping.

  5. Listen! The taps are dripping

  6. Mr. Cohen is walking to the taps.

  7. He is standing near the taps. Listen It’s quiet now

  8. Mr. Cohen is in bed again. His head is on his pillow. His eyes are closed. Sh! Mr. Cohen is sleeping.

  9. Bella and Sharon are standing near the door. They are talking.

  10. Mr. Cohen’s eyes are open. He is angry. He is talking.

  11. Mr. Cohen’s head is on the pillow. His eyes are closed. Sh! He is sleeping.
