How it helps? • Teachers: • Natural inclination towards one’s own learning style • Understand that Students with different styles learn & process information differently • Apply teaching strategies for multiple learning styles • Students: • Learn how he/she learns • Use appropriate study methods

  16. VAK - Application • Two possibilities • Delivery catering to multiple preferences & styles • Create a learning environment where the student participates with their learning styles

Visual - Application • Teacher-centered • Use graphs, charts, illustrations, or other visual aids • Include outlines, concept maps, mind maps, agendas, handouts, etc. for reading and taking notes • Student-centered • Ask students to draw, make posters, create visuals • Have the learners envision the topic or have them act out the subject matter

  18. Auditory - Application • Teacher-centered • Lectures • Interview with Q&A • Quiz games • Student-centered • Student presents on a subject • Debate • Peer teaching/learning • Group work
